I can count on one hand the number of times something good has happened when I’ve been in a “high vibration” state. You know that feeling when your phone buzzes, and you instantly feel like you have to react? It’s like anxiety is taking over your body—your chest tightens, your heart races, and all of a sudden, you’re in reaction mode. You feel like you have to respond right away, but deep down, you know you're in a spiral of anxious energy.
Working in a fast-paced, high-emotion industry (hello, creators and influencers 🙃), one of the hardest lessons I’ve learned—by getting it wrong many times—is that things will always get tough. There’s no avoiding that. What separates those who navigate it with grace from those who crash and burn is the ability to pause.
Yup. Just breathe.
Giving that anxiety-inducing moment some space to exist without reacting immediately can be a game-changer. Space to breathe gives your nervous system time to calm down and reset. And when you approach that situation with a clear head instead of pure adrenaline, you handle it with integrity, and, believe it or not—you grow.
Trust me, it works. (Most of the time.)
Just breathe.
